Hi, I'm curious if there is a way or software I need to upload songs I've wrote and have them play on my land as streaming music.

Sadly, it's not that easy. Second Life's "upload sound" feature is feature-less. It's limited to 10 seconds and must be a certain kind of WAV file.
You'll need to host the MP3 files on a server somewhere and then change your land media URL to point to them, either as a playlist or to individual songs.
