Hi, After being on SL for several weeks with no problems, all of a sudden as soon as I log in, second life disappears/crashes within seconds. I have an ATI Radeon X300 PCI Express graphics card which is supposed to be ok???? I don't know why it was fine, and then for no reason I can no longer access SL?? Any advice much appreciated Thanx

Try rebooting your router and modem. Unplug them and leave them unplugged for about a minute then plug them back in. Best to shut down your computer while you do that. It sometimes helps. Just a shot but it won't hurt.

another cupple shots in the dark...
spyware .. they cause random crashes on themselves and other programs sometimes, might wanna scan for them using both adaware and spybot
drivers ... common windows problem, some reason the pc gets shut down or windows just plain ol decides its going to start eating itself it can randomly corrupt files, now it doesnt know or care if its a driver or your masters thesis, specially scandisk fixing things can put the nail in the coffin, try reinstalling ALL your drivers starting with ATI and then direct X if it continues move on to sound network and motherboard drivers
uninstall and reinstall SL dunno if you tried but ... it is different than just downloading and installing over top of the old install

Clear cache (or manually delete cache folder from c:\documents and settings\<your username>\application data\secondlife)
