glitchy clothes

so i decided to go out and buy a khaki suit from a business. i bought it and everything worked, except the pants!!!! the pants were supposed to be khaki, but they are black with grey stripes.

at first i thought i got shafted so i went back, and showed the employees, and today i got a hold of the owner of the store. he even gave me a second pair, but for some reason, they STILL so up the same way, and its not just me, everyone around me sees those striped pants.

the owner could not figure it out, and neither could i? whats wrong here, and more importantly, what can i do to fix this, ASAP?!!

Try them again tomorrow and see if they look any different.

i did this, and nothing happend. my pants are still just black and gray stripes, even after completely uninstalling, reinstalling etc.

i think sometimes the texture just gets compromised somehow. have heard others have the same problem, alas i don't know anything else about it sorry 8(

take off clothing
quit sl
delete cache/temp
start sl again

make it cache awhile,
and wear stuff, to force a new baked texture update

if it still does it toggle vertex on/off in preference

also what vid card and vidram ? some shouldnt use neweset vid drivers as it blargs in SL.
