The other day a friend of mine offered to edit my very uneven land.
We set up a group, I deeded the land to the group..gave her mod right ect...
All good so far..
Then when we were done I revoked mod rights..And then deleted the group..(oh dear)
Now the land is group owned ..but there is no group and it doesn't belong to me either!!
I have no music..cant build on it ,and have no land to my name.
But am still payind the land fees..

Has anyone come across this before..or that could help me?

Suzanna if you e:mail [email]support@lindenlab.com[/email] they should be able to help. You can also try Live Help in game - there MAY be a Linden online able to help ( can't guarantee that tho ).

Thanks for the reply..Katier!
In world help referred me to Lindenlab...Who do not currently understand where I am comming from!
I am still trying to resolve this matter.
Just wondered if anyone had a miracle cure..: )

In future fyi, you don't need to deed the land to group for someone to edit the terrain for you. That was where you went a little bit wrong, the only way to get your land back once it's been deeded is to "buy" it back from the group. Not much help after the event I know, good luck

In future if you need terrain altered, just enable terrain editing in the land window and limit access to your land to the builder (and whoever else you like ) while it's enabled to prevent potential greifers making a mess.

Oh and when messing about buying and selling land to specific people make sure you set the buyer first ( in the sell bit there is a sell to option ) THEN set the price and then actually set it for sale. Some people take great delight in buying dirt cheap land off people when it's not intended for general sale. It's called Land Swooping and most victims are simply transferring land to/from a group.

It hasn't been transfered, so it they should be able to get it back. Best of luck! Let us know what happens.
