I have no trouble uploading sounds at all into SL...the problem I have is that after I upload them...you can barely hear them. They are perfect on my computer...but when I get into SL and upload it you have to strain to hear them at all. How can I fix this?

Nevermind...just gotta hit the "Increase Volume 25%" button till I'm ready to pass out...then it's pretty good.

Yes, I recently encountered this problem, too, and hit upon the same solution of ratcheting up the volume before uploading the sound. It seems odd that SL plays sounds at such a low volume, though.

Yeah, you'll either have to "Normalize" within your WAV editor, or if you know more about the mechanics of sound, if your sound proggie has a good limiter, you can really hammer the waveform until it's nice and loud but still retain it's original dynamics. I can't really judge accurately with my hyperacusis at the mo, but this is what I used to do before I ever came to SL. Cheers.
