Hey guys! I was hoping to get a little advice:
I'd like to purchase an Nvidia GTX 295 but I wanted to make sure my comp can support it.
I have 700 watt power supply
2 PCI Express slots, X8 on each
4 gigs ram
Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo E6750 CPU @ 2.66GHz 1333FSB 4MB L2 Cache 64-bit
(Req.DDR2 MainBoard)2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel Memory [-140] (Mushkin or Major Brand)
Right now my card is a : NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS 512MB 16X PCI Express
But I'm looking to upgrade.

Looks like you're good to go, on any operating system you care to name. The power supply is more than adequate.
Be sure to also get Nvidia's free little system monitor app, and take a look at CPU and GPU temperatures while you're running SL. It'll put up a little heads-up display for you, so you can see them even if you're running full-screen.
