Possibly done as a countermeasure to all the griefer attacks, but I still wonder... Why I can no longer see the properties on other people's objects? Two things I consider important: 1. The object's creator 2. Number of Prims -Many times I see something I like and I would like to know who built it in order to find out where to buy it. Can't do that. -If I go to a store and I am looking at furniture or something else, I would like to know how many prims the object has. I do not want to buy for example a table only to find out when I rezz it in my land that it has 250 prims ... I cannot even see the properties in objects from someone that gave me full edit rights to her stuff, if they are locked. So I am thinking that is the issue, if an object is locked, you can't see the properties. Comments? Sometimes I just think I am going crazy from spending so much time in SL and start imagining things Cheers, Pablo

You should still be able to see the owner and creator. Do you have "select only my objects" set in the menu?

I didn't know about that option Argent mentioned, but I just downloaded and completely re-installed SL yesterday and you can definitely select other peoples' objects and see creator at least (don't recall specifically about prim-count) with the default client settings. Look for that menu option, and if you can't find it, try a full client un-install followed by a re-install. Download the client here.
