Greetings.

This has started to happen yesterday night. I went to bed, did not care, and today it is a persistant problem and it won't let me play SL.

I log in and do as usual. In within 5 to 10 minutes, my SL (connexion I guess) stops responding. I can rotate my avatar, I can type in IM box, I can zoom on things with my cam, open my inventory, lots of things like that. But whatever I type in chat won't show up and I also cannot teleport. Also, anything that I would rez or modify is back to starting point when I relog, since indeed SL is not recording it.

I have done all I can see:

- Cleared up cache
- Uninstalled and ReInstalled SL
- Ran a full antivirus scan (clean)
- Closed my modem and computer for at least 5 minutes

My computer specs:

Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz
Windows XP Family Edition, Service Pack 2
512 Mo RAM
Video Card Ge Force 6600
Intel Processor
all drivers updated
blahblahblah

Now... what I am extremely concerned about is : MY INVENTORY / FETCHING
I have reached 22k items yesterday.
It is known to be a problem in SL to have more then 10k items. I know it makes me lag a lot, compared to an alt I have that has 2k items.
As I mentionned earlier, I tried cleaning cache and it *did* fully fetch back correctly.
But I am really concerned anyways that it might be the cause why I cannot run my program anymore.

Anyways for the moment I did everything I could, and LL is closed today. So if anybody out there knows of some tricks I could try, I would be very thankful if you let me know.
I am freaking out a little bit because on about 20 tries, I couldn't "play" more then 10 minutes.

I have had EXACTLY the same problems the past couple of days. I am constantly having to quit and relog in as the game just stops updating information.

When I quit, I am still connected to the internet fine. Other online games do not have this problem.

I dunno.

Would be really nice if someone could give some insight into how to fix this problem since I am having the same issue.

Hmmm, sounds like the EXACT same thing that has been happening to me. All of a sudden I cannot move or change outfits or I'll see someone typing forever... and then I'll check it by right clicking myself and checking my profile only to see that there is no information available. So I QUIT, and then have to relog back in.. and moments later the same thing will happen.

A few nights ago, this was a huge problem, then the next night, it wasn't an issue at all. Then the night before last.. the issue was back every few minutes so I just quit playing the game in utter frustration. Last night, not a problem as I didn't have to re-log back in once. Then today, same thing is happening again. Grrr.

Whatever the issue is, it is very, very frustrating. I don't think it is my computer or internet as everytime I lose connection inside the game, my internet is working flawlessly and other online games that my nephew plays (like WoW) work on my computer with no issues.

Surely someone has a solution or knows what the problem may be here. And please don't ask for computer specs or video card specs. I'm not a computer geek, but I know damn well that this isn't a problem with video card drivers or how much memory I have.
