I have a new one...the game just began stuttering, spitting and burping. Then it froze. Screen first went foggy (thought it was a 70's flashback) and then completely black. It now will not come back up, regardless of restarts. Any suggestions? It sure looked serious.

Sounds like a burned out graphic card... does the computer restart properly in windows, and if yes, can you run other 3D programs? If not, probably time to get that new shiny video card you had your eyes on for a while  *X* |
