There are two network status bars on the top right-hand side of the toolbar. The left one shows packet loss and the right one shows bandwidth. For both bars, the bar fills up with a color when the value is high. When the packet loss bar is high, that is BAD and the color is red...when the packet loss bar is low, that is GOOD and the color is green. That good/bad color arrangement makes perfect sense.
However, for the bandwidth bar a high value is GOOD, but then the color is red. When the bandwidth bar is low (BAD!), the color is green. That good/bad color combo just isn't right!
I request a minor tweak to the client code to invert the color scheme on the bandwidth bar.
Thank you. Digi Vox

No, Packet Loss/Bandwidth is correct. (They used to say so when moused-over, and they might still.)

For the Bandwidth bar think of Red as " Using a lot of your bandwidth, cant do much else with your connection thats BAD" Green as "Not using a lot of bandwidth, you can check your email use the net, hek maby even watch a movie at the same time, GOOD"

From: Lee Linden No, Packet Loss/Bandwidth is correct. (They used to say so when moused-over, and they might still.) Thats interesting to know, thanks. Thats something that someone told me, i did try and do a quick search for a wiki. I just hovered over for a while and it does indeed give you the figures, guess you learn something everyday lol. Im guessing the red in the left means 100% packet loss which would worry me as i've had that a few times, but as far as the colors go i think they make sense as they are. low bandwidth use is good, as soon as you get into the red then you may start experiencing packet loss either due to the setting on the network slider limiting the speed or your isp limiting the speed causing dropped packets.
