Listed as Guest in the forums

This is actually a technical issue with the forums, rather than with SL itself. Even after setting a custom title in my profile, I still show up as "Guest" in the sidebar, with no information about my start date in the forums or the number of posts I've made. My name also isn't a link to my profile page.

I've tried logging out and back again, but no luck. It's as if I'm logged in as Guest, but I can still edit my profile and whatnot. In fact, My Profile under Quick Links actually has the correct number of posts for me; it's just not showing in any of the posts themselves.

Anyone run across this problem before? It's not a critical showstopper for me, but it's certainly irksome.

I think it seems to affect everyone who's signed up since the forum move. Not really sure though.

Good to hear I'm not alone, then. I'll just hope it gets fixed at some point. I'd only just realized that the forums moved recently (started reading them only a couple days ago), and I know what kind of headaches that can cause. Thanks for the reply, Moleculor.

Chandra - thanks for the report, we're looking into what may be causing this weird bug. Be assured you are a full-fledged member of the forum and not a guest.

Moleculor is correct, everyone who registered after the forum move was stuck in a strange state. I've deployed new files for forum account creation and updated user records for everyone who registered after the move.
