newbie question about landmarks

hello everyone. i want to delete landmarks on the worldmap view.

when i click the little map on the top right corner
then click the drop down menu on "my landmarks"
and a bunch of places come up which i don't want anymore.

is there a way to delete them? i tried to delete the landmarks in my inventory file under "my landmarks" and all my notecards. i also checked to see if they were stored in the library in the inventory folder which they are not. if anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

Landmarks can be put into all sorts of places other than your landmarks folder. Any time you buy something, pick up a freebie, and so on, chances are pretty good that there is a landmark stuffed in there along with everything else.

Try using a filter. Open your inventory window, clear out any text you may have typed in its little search box up top, pick File>Show Filters from its menu, click the None button, then check the Landmarks box. That should show them all to you.

When you are done cleaning up, remember to re-click the All button on the filter window (or use File>Reset filters in the inventory menu) to get your normal view back.
