Today I started getting messages from Norton telling me that it found Adware.CPush on my machine, specifically in the file C:\Program Files\SecondLife\uninst.exe

Well I figured I'd download and install SL again and Norton said the installed was also Adware.CPush which based on the description I'm 99.9% sure is a false positive.

Anyone else getting this?

Virus definitions 7/15/2007 rev. 2 reported the SL installers as a virus.
Virus definitions 7/16/2007 rev. 21 do not.

Yes, I've been informed by my sources that the false positive has been corrected.

IS&T Going nuts at my work because of this
07-16-2007 13:16
Most of my work associates run SL, and our IT is going nuts with the False reports from SL's uninstal.exe. Its nice having a central system to block and remove infected systems from our network. But having 40 plus people (most of our software development team) loose network access is a pain! The work around IS&T is mark it as a false.

The real kicker is we have a positive hit for this last week. LOL
