ever since installing this piece of *insert explicitive* my computer has gone down the toilet. my gfx card has gone kaput and windows is constantly crashing whenever i try to open second life. Since uninstalling, anything to do with my ati software (ati tv, file player, etc.) doesnt open. i get an error box. thanks a lot for your computer destroying software.

Lindens? Pffft.

I'm not sure what's going on. But pretty much if you think any of these lindens would waste time on this post, think again.

They havn't solved my problem for over a week, and they treat me like a retard giving me basic troubleshooting methods.

Well I must say, you're a minority with that problem, even on my first account ive never heard anything like that before, did you ever think that it isnt SL?

I have ATI but havent had this happen. My suggestion is that you make sure your video driver has the latest update, if that doesnt solve it you may need to reinstall your video card or might even need a new one. I will say this, since getting my ati in the first place my pc has issues and I'll soon switch to a different card all together but my probs were from befor ever finding sl. Any way I wish you luck and hope it works for you!

Um. Has ANYONE else had this happen? Where installing SL blows up their comp?

Just a suggestion:

Instead of attacking, why not ask "Hey, has anyone else had SL blow up their videocard?" and find out if others have has similar experiences.
If they have, maybe they can help fix.

If they haven't, I think it's safe to assume that it's not SL, but rather a BKACM Error.

Of course, y'don't have to listen to me, you can just keep on attacking and badmouthing and see where that gets ya.

I had problems with Windows crashing when I was running SL. Turns out it was bad network card drivers. Check out www.drivershq.com and run their download and see how many/what drivers are outdated, try updating them, and see if you have any luck.
