Always wanted to know, but never got around to asking until now. When one is at their SL home/business, is there any way that we can turn the blue color off, on the mini-map, that indicates our belongings? I appreciate any and all responses. Thank you

Not a easy way i know of, you can edit the color.ini though.
C:\Program Files\SecondLife\app_settings\colors.ini add this, just modify the color values if you want to have diffrent NetMapYouOwnAboveWater 255 128 0 255 NetMapYouOwnBelowWater 192 96 0 255 trouble is every damn update will delete this and you have to modify it again CODE

When I brought this up about 6 months ago:
/111/0b/135364/1.html It was noted that changing colors.xml is the best practice now. _____________________

Thanks Thili and Dnel. I will give it a try. Would be nice to just have an off/on switch lol ah well, nothin's ever easy *sigh*
Thank you too, Sindy. I knew what the blue represented, though, as I mentioned. I just wanted to know if there was a way we can turn it off. ![]() _____________________

YAY!!! I just tried this and it is just awesome! Thili & Dnel you are life savers! It was becoming annoying, to be unaware that people were swarming all around me at home and I couldn't even tell because the blue and green clash
thanks again! ![]() _____________________

NP
I personally like the orange, the green dots and T's really stand out and it doesn't clash with the purple of group objects too badly either. Now all we need is a proper updater that only updates the necessary files, so that settings like these dont' keep getting overwritten._____________________
