Hey all,

I have posted on a few other forums here...but to no avail. I have registered, downloaded (Second Life 1-12-3-6 Setup-1.exe), and installed. When I double click "SecondLife.exe" NOTHING happens. In my Task manager, SecondLife.exe is running under the processes with mem usage of 4,386 K. There is nothing under Applications tab. I have a NVidia 6800 GT video card, and all my system specs are much above the "required" list. Please help. I have been wanting to play this game for quite some time now!

EDIT: On other notes, I have uninstalled and re-installed the game, restarted my computer (many times), updated my drivers, deleted a ton of old files, allowed second life past all my firewalls, and ran virus/adware scans.

Thanks in advance,

Gwyd

Oh, my fault....yea they weren't any help. They told me to seek help in-game....which is slightly impossible when I can't even log in.

A Res Mod might want to move this over to Technical Issues. They might be able to help her.

If youre on winxp/2k, make a new user, log in on that , then try to install , could be something bugging with install , only happend once for me and that way worked.

SL dont have support they shove it on users so Support@secondlife.com is useless, but i forget we're still testing their program , so who would know more about this then users?~.~

First, why are you double-clicking on the .EXE rather than the shortcut?

ALso, just so we're working on the same page, what are the rest of your computer's specs, and which version of windows are you using?
