This is complete utter bs.
I can log-in to one av, but not the other,, and Choose to log in to, the same zone > Merricks Landing 4 < What kind of Bull is this?
*rubs forhead* .... First Inventory, Friends list, and even avatar Errors, left and right, and NOW, Selective Account failure's.
On top of that for the last week or more, SL has been having memory leaks in my ram, While no other program does, when it closes down I has to be terminated by Windows XP's Task Manager.
What the heck.

Well, welcome to SL anyway! Have you tried clearing your cache? The one for the AV that is not working may be messed up. There is a checkbox for clearing it under Edit/Preferences, network tab. Then relog. Actually, I believe this choice is available even if you get to Preferences via the button on the login screen before you actually log in. It clears the cache for your entire workstation (all AVs). Oh, and yes, SL's client does have memory leaks, and these will eventually cause your PC to crash. How much memory do you have? I run it on two devices, one with 768 of ram and one with 2gig, and the difference is astonishing. I also use the third-party Nicholaz client ( http://nicholaz-beresford.blogspot.com/), which has fewer leaks.

The blog does say issues are nolong occuring.
Try loging in to a anotehr location on sl. When you login dirctly teleport ( from the login )from there that should get you in.

Usagi I Was doing that... Oh, and that is BS, it is still happening. and to the question above, 1 gig, but SL goes critical and kills it self first or Norton kills it.. but then I have to restart my system to play SL again, Or Kill my > Explorer < and Start it again with Task manager.

From: Kachu Avro 1 gig, but SL goes critical and kills it self first or Norton kills it.. but then I have to restart my system to kill and start > Explorer < over again. May/may not be related to your problem, but SL is not particularly friendly with Norton, or indeed most antivirus scanners. They interfere with the cache, particularly the texture cache. If you can, tell your antivirus scanner to ignore this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\<your userid>\Application Data\SecondLife Or simply disable it while you're playing SL. Virus scanners also tend to autoupdate frequently, which steals focus and bandwidth from SL, and can cause "redmapping", where you seem to freeze inworld (actually lose connection between client and server).

I am sorry it has not worked out for you. Is your norton set to a high level of protection? There are many people that are getting caught in the blackhole of a login. It can`t be your virus program bu tthe pipe that leads from dallas to SF. many many people had this issues occuring earlier. There is no simple answer for this problem
