Having JUST upgraded from a "tourist" resident to a land-owner, I was terraforming my
little 512sq/m piece of cyberspace when I was abruptly kicked out by the system, with an error msg advising the sim was going down.. I've seen that before, so I went and got a drink, and tried to log back in... hmmm.. Now I'm getting timeouts and msgs indicating that the system may be down.... ack.. Is this true?? BTW: its ~5pm SLTime on Sunday 10/23....

Hi Tas!

It was a griefing, Tas... only this time the whole grid was targeted. Lindens are working on it as we speak.

omg hun this is crazy but there is a whole thread bout what happen even pictures of the speres u should read the other post under tech issues bout it , crashing all on sl one sim at time . i dont get what fun this person would get out of this and he even replyed in thread just a big ole **^^$#% if u ask me grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i was with my girl doing things too was like ummmmm omg nooooooooooooooooo

I'd bet dollars-to-lindens that the sleeze-weasel that did this is a free acct, and further, when the Lindens cancel that acct, he'll be back with a different free acct within hours.. I'll bet the linden engineers are feverish working on a fix to prevent this from happening again, probably some better limits on object-spawning or self-replication.. If I don't see you at the Shelter tonight, have a happy....
