I lost a land purchase during the upgrade wondering if anyone else had the problem
Purchased land Monday eveing Tuesaday afternoon approved the tier change (well withing the 48hr window) Logged in and found my new land now owned by Gov, Linden I did not release it. Appears to have been and *upgrade bug. As of right now the land I bought has been assigned an auction # and is I guess going to be resold so I'm out $8999L's and no land now over 36 hrs since I reported the problem and No response from LL :(

Send an email to support every day. I've seen problems like this before. LL is slow to respond, but should fix it for you within a week's time. Worst case, they'll refund your money.

ah, there is / has been land sale bugs (had a couple myself) and they do solve the problem, if it happened to you it likely happened to a couple of people. be patient, and E-mail LL (find a linden online) when you can. they will solve it as soon as they can.

look for lee linden, he will shoot me for referring you to him, but he is who took care of my issues. GL

If it's in Gov's hands, we'll be holding onto it. We wouldn't auction a plot like that for well over a week, so you're okay writing support... once, preferably. Give us some time; we're still a few days behind on answering messages, but working through as fast as we can.

Alternatively, you can always phone us...

Lee, no disrespect intended, but if you really only want us to send one message, then LL should change the automated response message to reflect a reasonable time to wait.

Every time that I e-mail support I get the response saying that it will be handled the next business day and it always takes several days.

Set the expectations appropriately, please.

Issue still not resolved If I had known the lead time was sooo long I would not have duplicated the requests and statement of lead time would have been nice in the Auto response

I'm Judd's neighbour and I wrote support about the glitch we both have in the sim on May 31st. I've had no response other than the auto-reply, which convinces me that "a few days behind on answering messages" is rather an inaccurate statement.

There are problems that can wait (or can be completely ignored like mine), but this one Judd has is different. It's his money we are talking about. Who would want to live in a world where your property can accidentally get confiscated by the government?

No disrespect meant here neither, but LL can have a better system to prioritise the problems and act accordingly.

Casting doubts

I could only hope that Judd's issue would be resolved quickly...and with the highest of priorities

What a terrible doubt, if it were widely known, that this could cause to people wanting to finally invest substantial funds into land...it seems that the economy is largely based on land sales here and a lack of trust in the system is not what SL needs
