Well, well.. looks like there's a bug made big enough that MY computer can't just ignore it. Good job!
...actually, it's very annoying. I can't spend more than 3 minutes in the editor without it just.. closing out to the bug reporter. Reason I find it annoying is because my computer, for whatever reason, has always been extremely tolerant to programs that aren't quite right in the code. SL is the only program on it that crashes on a regular basis, even over stuff like Nintendo 64 emulation (those who know emulation know what I mean. N64 emulation is the worst about hard-locking computers).
I have a deadline. Building this house is a time-critical ordeal (wouldn't BE an ordeal if the stupid editing mode would quit crashing) so that I can get it both in my vendor and out to someone I promised to get it to. Like I said, I'm not normally one to complain, but this editor bug that was supposedly fixed? Uh-uh. No way. Not if it crashes on THIS computer.
What I might suggest in regaurds to all this crashing? Have the clients remain in testing for longer (and server), and have everyone that connects to it (I'll help!) report any bug they find, no matter how miniscule it may seem. I've found, in my course of programming an IRC client, that sometimes those tiny little bugs can point to something MUCH bigger, which would explain what appear to be "random" program terminations.
