Oddball question that I couldn't find via search-

Does the time displayed in the SL client come from the local computer or it synced with the Linden server farm? To put it another way, if I lose 5 minutes on my PC clock time, will the time showing in the SL client also be 5 minutes off?

The time displayed in the viewer is referred to as SLT (Second Life Time). It is the same as Pacific Time in the US which is where Linden Labs is located. Near San Francisco.

The time on you PC has no bearing on the time displayed on your viewer.
