Can not create a new account?!

Is anyone else having problems creating a new account?!
I'm in a location with several other SLers, we are all having the same problem, tried everything, even different computer, connection, totally new user can not sign up, BUT!!! you can go thruogh the entire registration process up to denial, and then lose the name you chose to limbo!!!!

Some people work on third party contracts and need to make new accounts foir thier clients and for some reaon, at least in this area this is not possible.

I am unable to find any bug report, known issues, etc....

Any insight here?!

Are you paying for you new account? Second Life has an alt account policy when you create a new account you should be getting prompted that is costs nine something U.S to create an alternate. Even though a lot of people are creating new accounts without paying they should be paying the fee that it requires to get an alternate so that could be the reason you cannot create another account.
