Can't teleport and can't change clothes

I read around and did a search and I can't find anything about this issue anywhere. Yesterday afternoon I lost the ability to teleport. I try and the game says it couldn't teleport me in a timely manner. Also, I logged in and my hair was off. I went to equip it and it won't. I try again and it says an attachment is pending for that spot, then it times out. Same thing happens for all my other clothes if I try to remove/re-wear them.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Apparently it's a problem with the zone I'm in. I'm fairly new, but I think I'm in "Rogla"

You can do this in world or from the start screen:

* if you're logged on: Edit menu / Preferences
* if you're at the start screen: click Preferences

under Network: Clear Cache
under General: check "Show Start Location"

Now close SL (even if you're not logged on yet, otherwise the cache won't clear), and you'll notice that under your name, you name have a new field to type the name of a sim in to connect to directly (by default it'll either say "My Last Location" or "My Home". Type: Hahne

Then press connect as normal.

When you're logged on, open your inventory window, and type anything random in the search box at the top, then wait until it stops saying "Fetched etc" and you're good to go .
