Some things never changed in sl

I just read the release notes on the things done on this update, today the 13th of December.

I see Linden still can't get it right. Why do you guys continue to add stuff, change stuff around that doesn't need to be changed at the moment instead of fixing the problems we've been dealing with for the longest of time now? WHY?

All I saw was alot of nothing. A lot of things that are being changed or added instead of what's really needed.
As much as people here have complained of not being able to teleport each and every time, actually you really can't tp half the times in most cases, nothing was done about this.
There is nothing that says anything about the tp issue. WHY?

Instead you're wasting time on the radio, the radio? Not just the radio but I saw a whole lot of things being changed that have no real emergency being even looked at. Items with the "escape" key being done. This also isn't needed. Once again nothing has changed, Linden has done what they always do, they fixed their attention of things that can wait and those issues that are really needed to be fixed are overlooked, again.

Now, what can sl residents expect? A whole lot of the same, not being able to tp. Having to tp somewhere else to get to where they need to be. And this is if you're lucky. Most times you have to tp back to your home to be able to tp where you're going.
Again, many times you can't even tp to your homes to do this. So we have to log out completely and then log in and maybe, just maybe you're lucky enough to be able to tp out.

What must we do to get you guys to fix these issues, important issues like this? What? I mean there has to be something because mere complaints have no effect as can be seen.
The other day Linden wrote they had JUST been made aware of tp problems. Just made aware? This was a joke, right?

People with businesses are losing out because customers can't tp into their shops and places of business. Is this not a priority?

Issues like this are where Linden should maintain their emphasis on and not meaningless stuff that don't need to be changed or added to.

Before, Linden was doing their updates every week like clockwork but the game was out of control with bugs taking over. The voices of sl's residents screamed out to halt these updates and finally they were stopped. But lately as you can see, the updates on a weekly basis are begining to return, slowly but surely and now the game is back to where it was, a state of chaos as far as bugs, crashes and you name it with just about nothing being done.

I'm aware it's a big game and certain things need time to be repaired and to run the correct way. But come now, many of the urgent issues currently affecting it's residents have been here alot longer then they should be. And the thing is, they're not even being looked at as Linden always writes down what they're planning on doing next and nothing has been said about tp issues or any of the other urgent problems.

Please, for once, get it right!!!!! "sigh" I guess some things never change and are destined to be repeated over and over.

Instead of deleting this post, try answering it. I'd love to hear why urgent needs aren't looked at while needless ones get all the attention.

This is really simple and I just don't understand why people don't get it.

Not every Linden is on the "fix the urgent bug team", whether it is because they have other duties, or do not have the skills for that team.

So while your seeing non urgent stuff that doesn't mean that the urgent things aren't being worked on.

For all we know there are a number of things in this new release that will help fix/diagnose some of the urgent problems.

It's also a large system, and any fix you make needs to be tested properly or you can easily make things worse. (Personally been there, done that, not good)

now that they have the blog they barly ever look here,Tech support/advices are from regular SL people not much from LL

But who do you think spend more time and run into bugs, its customers,sure they find the ugliest one in preview, but usually a few new appear on update day, and old bugs tend to rear its head back -.-

Lindens dont know everything , it all depends who you run into , i love sl, but its more of a hate relationship latly ~.~ ...by that i mean the year 2006, everything went reallly bad in SL ~.~ still waiting for bugs to get fixed, getting bit to big for its own good

all i can say is bravo!!!!! you took words from my mouth big time... maybe they think were soo stupid we will go ooo how pretty the new music is or ooo this an that pfft plz were all to the point its laughable at new items

I agree with you there. They should concentrate on fixing the bug instead of adding a bunch of features that also bring more bugs.. I honestly think that these upgrades have been feeling like downgrades for most of us.

You're so right, actually it seems like there's NO Linden on the urgent fixes we all want and need.

I already had stated I know this place is big and it takes time to fix certain things. But! Something as urgent as the teleporter which everyone uses and needs should be given top priority as well as a few of the other more important things.

It's extremely frustrating and time consuming not being able to get where you're going. or to have to relog because you can't tp to your homes. C'mon now, enough already!

Things that deal with everyday needs and wants. Who cares about the radio having extra buttons or your keypad being able to let you escape from certain chat situations? Stuff like this you bring in afterwards, after the main stuff is taken care of.

I don't want pretty sugarcoated items in sl. All I want is for the stuff we use everyday to be working properly and if it breaks down, for it to be fixed in a proper time frame. But unfortunately, this seems too much to ask judging by the way things are done here.

I just can't see why things like having a teleporter that functions correctly all the time is not seen as something more important then many of these other non-essential things.

What do you do when you don't know how to do what needs to be done?
