Since the new update today Second Life is crashing to windows half through log in. There are always problems are an update but this is ridiculous.

I have a fairly new laptop, just a few months old, gig of ram, 80mb hard drive and a 128 Ati Radeon video card. I shouldn't be having these problems.

In another note i can't even post on the Message to Lindeon forum because it says i am not valid and i am paid up user of Second Life, what is that about?

Is there any help out there?

Uninstall and reinstall SL.

Are you trying to start a new thread in Hotline to Linden, or are you trying to reply? You can't reply to threads there, only Lindens can.
