I cant logg in =(

When i try to logg in everything is fine entill it come to the connecting to region and it stops for like a minute then i get the crash logger and when i tried reporting this into the crash logger it freazes up :/...I thought maybe it could of been server down or somthing but its been like 4-5 days :/...Yes i checked out "Wiki" and I tried what they suggested but it didnt help me...... PLZ help me

I'm having a simmilar problem except when i try to log in it says you cannoth acces second life fromt that computer and i try my other pc and it does same thing so i send [email]support@secondlife.com[/email] and they never replied

Your problem isn't the same as Olivia's. Your account is either suspended or banned from SL, either because of something you did, or because of an error at Linden's end, usually where they've banned an IP, that your ISP has dynamically assigned you to. If you don't have dynamic IPs, then it's generally because you did something wrong.

Also, according to the timeframe in this thread, you sent them email shortly before 7:00pm PST. They're not in the office then, haven't been since, and won't be until tomorrow morning. All the same, they may not get back to you for a couple days.

First, has SL ever worked for you? Have you been able to log in successfully? If so, have you tried uninstalling and redownloading and reinstalling SL? You can download the client here.

I have been playing awhile actually...1-2 months i have been playing...ill try what u said and see if that work...thanks

Why not include technical data about connection, comp and such... here are always one or two great technical guys that can help - and better with more technical info.

I have last month learned a lot about this - and often I use the in built Mac Tools - and then restart and al are ok again..


All that are ”wrong” are not at LL side.. some can be in your comp to.. thats my experience..

It's true -- it's very hard to be much help without knowing any of the details. When the problem started, whether or not it's ever worked properly, what kind of computer you have... these are all important pieces of information to know.

The fact that you're suddenly crashing, Olivia, this tells me that something has probably changed on your end, though not necessarily because of something you did. Without knowing more about the circumstances, I can't suggest much other than that you try to uninstall and reinstall. This wipes your SL cache, which can become corrupted and cause the crash you're seeing.

No problem, I'm glad I could help. I just wish that there was a better mechanism for the client to suggest an uninstall and reinstall after a crash, but that could get complicated, I suppose.
