The message on the status page reads: "In our continuing effort to improve your Second Life experience, we have taken Second Life temporarily offline for maintenance."
I suggest it be changed to a more forthcoming: "In an effort to recover from yet another one of our monumental screw ups, we have taken Second Life offline for several hours while we figure out what we did wrong this time."
