2nd life always hanging up - i have a 56 k modem - best working - but at 2nd life connections hangs up - why please write in easy english or german - thanks

Because you need a broadband connection to play secondlife, either a DSL or Cable connection usually. (ie it needs to be FAST)
Analog modems which is what you have are just not fast enough.
