Permissions Question

Ok, I'm sooo stupid with permissions it's not funny. I've read this thread and call myself setting things up like they're supposed to be.

I have a scripted object, two scripts. "Main" does all the work, "settings" holds some configuration info. The next user should have free reign with settings, modify on the object, and nothing on Main. My Current Permissions are:

Object:
Yes Modify
No Copy
Greyed Give away

Main:
No Modify
No Copy
Greyed Give Away

Settings:
Yes Modify
No Copy
Greyed Give Away

I bundled this along with a note card and some other stuff into a folder, and dropped it on a friend who's testing it for me. She can't edit the settings file. All of the scripts have llResetScript() in on_rez which I thought would clear up any ownership issues.

What am I doing wrong here? I could make her buy it I suppose, but do I have to? I feel like the settings are a little restrictive (I'd like to allow transfer or copy later) but until I know what I'm doing, I'm afraid to loosen them up too much. Thanks.

No copy stops scripts being modify, if I remember correctly..

As if you could modify you could copy/paste or read it out and put it into a new script..

Modify without copy only allows you to edit the name description and such..
