What's this game actually doing to my hardware? Everytime I start SL for the first time after booting up, you can be sure that between 3-8 minutes of runtime, my NIC craps out and forces me to restart the drivers. I can put it at max load for any time I want, and nothing happens, but oh if SL runs. Can you please fix this? The card in question is an Intel PRO/1000.

Usually, when something like this happens, it's because we're using a networking standard that isn't robustly supported by the firmware (because very few products use it). A driver/firmware update can typically help.
