And the popups will not Stop :/

Its a griefer attack sorry to say. Someone sends you a vast bundle of textures and it stalls your game.
I don't know much about the solution at this point. People have said try to set yourself as Busy (top menu World/Set as Busy) and maybe they will be rejected. The other thing is to try to find the sender and AR them. As well, there maybe an object name in the chat..see if you can mute the object. I hope some of this helps or someone else has an idea. I would also email technical support (http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/contact.php) and tell them what is going on. They maybe able to help you. Good luck! |

It's not a hacker, it's someone sending you lots of textures.
In chat history it should say whether it's a person or an object giving you the textures. Go into busy mode (which might stop them), find the person or object, then mute them. |

Setting to Busy only stops the new ones from coming in, doesn't do anything about the old ones, unfortunately.
This is one of the stupidest design decisions in the client, IMO. Anyways, when someone hits me with a texture bomb like that, I go into Busy immediately, then open my Trash folder, find one of the textures, and check it's properties to find out who is sending it. Then, I mute that person specificially, and file an abuse report with a snapshot including the user interface. I then follow this up with a comment on Live Help. Last time I followed those steps, the jackass who was doing it disappeared from SL within 10 minutes, never to be seen again. I'm sure he has another alt account griefing other people, but he hasn't returned to bother me, haha. . _____________________
