Login packet never received by login server.

"Unable to connect. Login packet never received by login server. Please try in a few minutes, or click Help for advice and a link to the system status web page."
I suspect that my connection to the server is being blocked by a filter at work. Anyone have any suggestions on how i can get around it?

I received this error while trying to log into my home region. Then I tried logging into a different region and was successful. But I still could not teleport to my home region. The viewer crashed whenever I tried. So I teleported to a region adjacent to my home region and discovered that my home region wasn't there. Just a big blank space where it should have been. So I assume the server for that region was down, and that was why I could not login or teleport to that location.

So the region you are trying to login to may be down. Try logging into a different region.
