I get stuck at "Connecting to region..."

I've tried changing Login Location in Preferences, and that doesn't help. Anyone else having problems?

I cant seem to log in either. But its telling me something unexpected has gone wrong blah blah..

Okay, here's some testing I did:

2) My brother was able to log in on HIS computer with HIS account.
3) My brother was able to log in on MY computer with HIS account.
3) I was able to log in on my brother's computer with my account.

Yet, I am still unable to login on my computer with my account. WTF?

It takes me up to 2 minutes to get in...was not that long before...

I've cleared my cache and I've restarted as well. I've also reinstalled 1.7.5

Can someone tell me if Tecta is down? That's the region I was last in.

Reasoning for the Tecta question:

When I logged on my brother's computer, he has his Login Location setting set to "My Home", so when I logged on, I logged in at "My Home" in Achlya.

On my computer, my Login Location was set to "My Last Location" which was in Tecta.

I reset my Login Location to "My Home", but I am still unable to log in. It still lingers on "Connecting to region..."

5 hours later and still no luck...I've done everything I can think of on my end...called LL twice and both responses (firewall, router) yielded no results. I just don't get it. Again:

I can log onto my account on my brother's computer.
He can log onto his account on my computer.
He can log onto his account on his computer.
I can't log onto my account on my computer.

I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled, I've deleted the Applicationdata folder for Second Life...cleared everything, and it still hangs on "Connecting to region..."

Baffling.

Obviously your computer is worried you're going to heat it up again today with more, uhm, dancing. Assure it that you have no intentions of putting it through such stress again, so soon (even tho your girls will be most disappointed) and it will certainly relax and allow you in.

Another update, another bug prob.... loggin in has been a nightmare and random to say the least... its nothing to do with firewalls/routers etc.. if you logged in ok before the update.. its a smoke screen.
Webby's PC couldnt login all day.. I come home, login on my PC, install update.. game loads ok... logout for RL stuff.. cant get back in for like an hour.. then logout for RL stuff and now cant get back in....

The reality is the login server.. nothin more.. nothing less.... DO NOT adjust your PC settings....

Okay, I've created another account on this same computer, and, as I thought, I'm able to log in with this new account. Now, LL has tried to tell me it's a problem on my end. How is it a problem on my end if my brother can log with his account on this computer, and now I can log in with my new account on this computer? I just wish someone at LL had an answer for me, or just explain to me how this is so.

P.S. I'm a noob again! Grah!

All I did was restart my computer like suggested and it finally let me on. But now Im having problems IN SL. I cant win either.

did you try a SL link to force your av to log on diffrent place? on your pc click on this links

Dunno, helped me when i was stuck in sims that wouldnt let me log on.
