This bug seemed to vanish for a few versions. Now, it's back. When I enable avatar vertex, the client crashes. I'm able to run Nvidia's NALU 6800 demo flawlessly, so I don't suppose my drivers are corrupted or out of date.
Can we expect to see more *mature* (less crashy) vertex and fragment shader support soon? Will the rendering engine utilize OGLSL or CG?
