I am so f**king sick of this bs of not being able to teleport half the time. Not to mention everything else that seems to be happening here on a daily basis. My brother and I had gotten a Sim a while back but we've gotten rid of it. I refuse to pay Linden any money anymore.

How can you run a freaking business when people can't come to it? When the Sims are constantly down due to technical problems. The only thing that doesn't break is Linden's ability to charge us.

The other accounts we've had for a long time, we've scaled back to basic as no amount of money will be paid to this company. Not anymore. Not for the constant shoddy work done here as with the running of this game.

And another thing, don't constantly tells us you're aware of the persistent problems here because as many complaints as people post here, you'd be blind not to notice. Don't tell us, do something about it!!!

Since when hasn't the "Missing Image" problem been here? The not being able to tp half the time? All the other bs going on? Yet, all we hear is Linden is aware of it.
We know you can't fix everything all at once but c'mon, it seems like you don't fix anything, period!.

These "updates" you give us are useless. The camera doesn't need new buttons to click or anything else. Instead concentrate on things that are much more essential to the residents daily usage. Teleporting is definitely one of them, yet nothing has been done to fix this problem.

Instead of making problems like this your priority, it seems price hiking is all you're concerned about. You're deducting all monies you paid off for different things like for teaching as well as for other activities. You're raising prices on Sims and I'm sure tiers will also go up shortly, yet the service here is lousy.

And I won't even get into the weekend tech crews. That's another story altogether.

Yes, I'm ranting and raving cause I'm pissed at this bs we're being fed daily. I do like this game and I like it a whole lot but it's not fun anymore, not when you have to deal with all this and nothing gets fixed. At least not in a proper time frame.

Can't wait for Vanguard to begin.

I AGREE!! *jumps up and down*

So many silly updates, as we all hope for more stability......we log on to worse conditions. paying monthly bills to lindens. While our SL becomes more hectic then RL.

They are bragging of having more then 1.4 million people in game.
But were they ready? Is the Grid capable of holding us all?
Or was it a ploy to get more money? Sell more Linden, sell more land, give out more tier payments. All the while, disguising updates for stability purposes, for more fancier buttons or minor adjustments to our controls.
They are in over their heads, and ours, quite frankly.
I dont go on as much, i downgraded my account to free.
Sold all my land.
Things use to be really fun in SL, once upon a time.
I think once they introduced this flex thing, was when i was really at my wits end. Because it had nothing to do with the stability, everyone i knew, wanted.
Here we all are, begging in this technical issues forum.
With no answers from even a Linden, in how long.
I dare someone to create a Thirdlife!!
Cause i will be there!! This Secondlife is not much different then Real life anymore.

Nothing gets fixed

I agree the Lindens have become very good at evasive answers and sluffing off responsiblity. I have also cut back on my land and only come in because I have very good friends here I dont want to leave. I do expect to see many paid accounts cut back and sell off their land-soon the grid will be overrun with free accounts and the economy will collapse. *sigh*

Aaah the joy of running a company mostly squatted by freeloaders. After a time you get sick of hearing peoples complain.

FIRST OF ALL:
I am not sure what Technical Program Managers Linden has employed but they are obviously not PMU certified or they'd know a couple things:

1. YOU CAN NOT SAY SOMETHING IS FIXED WHEN THE "SO-CALLED" FIX CREATES OTHER PROBLEMS. THAT MEANS IT IS STILL BROKEN. Ever hired a plumber before or contraftor Mr. Linden, et. all? and they damage something else? If a plumber fixes your toilet but floods your basement...it's NOT FIXED.

2. Since you are so into education resources coming to SL...think about hiring a PMP to manage your rollouts and version control. Oh wait you have heard of version control right? release control? um debugging? um testing? any of those terms....just a few terms from Techie 101.

3. I JUST WANT TO REPEAT NUMBER 1 and 2 over and over again.

See the issue is SL has many great concepts, but I have yet to see any one concept completely followed through and working properly. Try creating a WBS (if you don't know what that is Mr. Linden then you are in wrong business.

You may want to consider reorging your development teams and looking at how items are prioritized. Just too much to complain about at this point. You might want to think about a SME too.

It's a growing dissapointment by the day. It's like "office space"...every day is worse than the previous day in sl so in effect today is worse than yesterday despite so called fixes which I still fail to see. And judging by the posts I am guessing I am not the only one.

This basically is a total lapse of service for the money being spent and accoutns should be prorated by the minute until the lindens and team can get it together.

Otherwise...I propose a "log out". virtual equivialnt of a walkout.

Well i doubt am going to be contributing much to this thread, but i do think that talking directly to the techies behind the system helps. The other day i was looking to rope in some good DB2 and Perl folks from LL for a teleco project out here in the mideast and i looked up LL on LinkedIn.com and came across loads of their staff looking for interesting career opportunities, LinkedIn also spat out results for folks who's previously worked with LL and techies currently on the job.

If anyone really wants to make their sl experience worth the dosh they invest, why not talk to the dev folks behind the system? Give them a call, shoot them an email, whatever works good for you..

Most likely you're gonna' get somewhere instead of whining on here and getting the same bastardized response from LL as a whole (yes PR love.. i know the pressure can get quite crappy at times.. you people up there are doing a nice job as it is).

Here's the LinkedIn url for LL staff for what it's worth:

Cheers! :)

Show me the online entertainment that doesn't have forums filled with requests.

Consider all online enviroments to be beta, because a fully released finished product will never occur as long as there are improvments to be made.
