I'm in my office, and can't install the update 'cause I must have administration rights or something like that in order to install anything in my pc.

So I was just wondering if there is another way to play without installing?

I discovered the other day that if you install SL to a USB memory stick you can run it from there!

Won't help you if there are port issues but gets around the installation issue.

I installed from one PC running Vista and then ran it from another PC running XP that had never run SL on it before. Worked fine.

SL net use would glow red on internet use

bajillion connections going to one place, that would be so easy to see what you where doing if they even look at traffic -.o

I use my iPod

I've got MojoPac installed on my iPod nano, as well as a thumb drive. SL is installed on both.

You can get SL to run on that, and some days I cant get it to run on my desktop!

Oh ya I forgot to mention, you could always just download "BRUTE FORCE" and MAKE the computer take an install (it makes administrative rights null & void). If they find out though, the IT department will call you a hacker, and your job will cease to exist.

If the IT guys are your friends.. you could have them install it... If your bosses would frown on it if they found out.. I'd recomend not installing it. SL is such a bandwidth hog you WILL stick out like a sore thumb.
