Minimize, maximize, close buttons turned black.

On the machine I run SL on, I have acquired a problem with the minimize, maximize, and close buttons at the top right of a window turning almost black fairly often. My other machine that browse on doesn't seem to have this problem.

The SL machine runs Windows XP and has an ATI X800 graphics card.

I have no particular reason to think this is caused by SL but I also have no reason to think it's not.

I can't tell that anything else bad is ocurring.

The buttons can be restored to their correct appearance by going to the display settings and changing from Windows Classic to Windows Xp and back again.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to stop it?

ive noticed this with "active desktop" and windows 2k all over the place, windows, SL, firefox,dos (just kidding)
