For the last week and a half I have found walking to be much harder than it used to be - it acts like keypress lag - I hold down up arrow, then about 1 or 2 seconds later my av will start walking - then I let off up arrow and about 1 or 2 seconds later my av stops walking (imagine how many suicide plunges I have taken from walking off edges of things). I have tried spitting out my gum and my walking skills have still not improved. I have never had this problem before - is it common after the last two updates or is it just me?
Also, with this new keypress lag, I may as well toss all my vehicles because they are IMPOSSIBLE to control. All my vehicle and other control input projects are hereby on hold until this issue is fixed. I won't even bother listing my machine specs because they are well over what is required.
Maybe the lindens should discuss a pro-rated membership and tier for these months or halfmonths when SL is UN-USEABLE (or at the very least unenjoyable and loaded with frustrating bugs)!
Side Note: Objects that used be rezzed from other objects at ZERO_ROTATION now rez at strange rotations (example: the platforms rezzed by aubretech skywalk system - they now rez at a funky diagonal angle that I slide off of - which btw was the only thing keeping me from falling off my airstrip when this keypress lag started, so problems on top of problems - YAY!). Even if it is rezzing from an attached object, which replaces the objects parent prim with your hip rotation and position, it still rezzes all funky like, and I can tell from looking that my hip pos and rot are not at some crazy 45 degree angle. Also, anyone else notice their avs feet now sink slightly into prim floors? I think all these problems are linked somehow... maybe a rotational translation is skewed now or the gimbal lock fix is broken.
