I need to know if SL can cause my computer to spit out spam emails (or something). Recently my cable company has told me that my computer has been sending out 12,000 spam mails a day. I have run every available virus scan and erased anything remotely a threat. The spam mail continues and the cable company employee's refuse to provide any helpful support of the problem. Now, from what little information I have been given from them, the time that these spam emails were sent out, were the times that I was logged in and playing SL. While I seriously doubt this, my family, and probably my cable company (who no doubt has no idea what Second Life is) suspect the game of being the problem. I would like confirmation on whether Second Life can cause these spam mails or not, or something of a similar problem.
Btw, I do not mean like virus spam mail, just anything that might be picked up as spam by a cable company, such as some sort of computer to server connection or something, I don't know what they're reading as spam.
