Ever since around the 1.8.0 patch, I haven't been able to get on SL in any useful capacity. I have the most current drivers for everything, all motherboard and video card drivers, I don't have ac'97 audio, I have a 600 Watt OCZ Powerstream power supply, so there's no chance that it's my power supply. I've tried reinstalling, deleting my cache, all of that. All of my hardware is top of the line, I run a dual core system, but I disable one core to prevent the thrashing that occurs since the 1.8.0 patch (did not occur before that patch). I'm running Windows XP SP2, my computer is completely up to date. Therefore, it is Second Life's problems. I love this game, however, I can't continue paying for something that I am unable to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I can cooperate however I am needed.
