I logged in tonite and had about 10 system messages that tell me my things went off world. For some reason my elevator, pet rabbit that runs around my land, and about 10 butterflies are all missing from my land. I got messages that said they all went offworld. My elevator was returned by someone in the sim. Dunno where the other things went or what the heck happened. Basically all my scripted objects went on a lil journey somewhere for no apparent reason. I have extra butterflies, but the bunny hasnt eaten yet and is probably hungry off on its own. Seriously tho, what could have happened to make things just go away? Was told it may be someone used some sort of push script near my land and it caused it. Does anyone know or has it happened to you?

It sounds like someone used a push script on all of your physical objects. Picture a teenage misfit cackling while he blasts people's possessions all over the sim. There's a couple of really nasty scripts for sale right now... "hand of god" and "hand of satan"... their only use is to piss off other players. Yet the script creators are making a tidy profit.
My only advice is to stop using physical objects.

Funny thing happend to me in sandbox, i was editing my thingie that follows me around yes its physical, and phantom, i pulled it out, 10 sec later "went offworld" ,,, huh odd,, tried again, few seconds passed it went off again, 3rd time i moved further into sim, it still did it O.o what?
Tp'd to another sim it didnt go offworld more, these things are solid or phantom ?

There are so many fascinating things that could be done with physical objects on a more reliable physics engine. But if any vandal with a push thingy can come in and completely trash a week's work, who's going to bother getting together and building them? -- jj |
