Help!
Im a newbie, and recently after purchasing some new clothes found that after certain teleports or logging in for the first time I am bald and completely naked! However, I see myself clothed from my screen. I couldn't figure out after logging in last night why I was getting so much attention from people. I guess the new skin was a hit! I don't know if this a problem with the clothes or a bug I'm unaware of. Any ideas or help?

I had something similar happen, was getting ghosting from a previous outfit over my current one. According to the Linden I got on Live Help, your AV image is 'baked' (his term for it) from the local settings and then sent out. So what you see and what they see CAN differ. Here's what he told me to try. Change my clothing, go into appearances, change any slider (height, weight, etc) and then save the new appearance ssettings. Said it forces the client to update the image to the server. Sounded like BS to me, but my friends said my image changed and the ghosted shirt went away under the jacket. *shrug* Lots of SL is voodoo *gets out the beads and rattles to pray for luck*  |
