I have been trying to fix this issue for 4 days now
I can log into sl and chat and move normal ... within mins sometimes my av freezes and i cannot move to walk or chat in im or chat window
I can move my av using arrow keys it a full circle but thats it
i can see others chat for a short period of time
i have cleared cache i have unintalled and re install sl 7 times
2 of them being with the new updrade
PLease any advise would be great as sl help is very very hard to come by

For starters, when you first get into SL, do Help/About Second Life.... then, copy paste the results here. That'll give us your computer and graphics details.
Second, what kinda internet connection are you using. When you freeze, but can still rotate your avatar and look around (and sometimes even IM), but you can't move or get info about any objects.... that's typically an internet connection problem.

Sounds like your internet cannot keep up with SL. Are you able to send IMs and still interact with the rest of the avatars around you? Have you tried lowering your internet connection speed in the preferences?

yes i have tried to lower But i have been on sl for over 2 mths and not had this prob b4 i have been in touch with my internet company and they tell me all is fine I dunno what else to try |
