This is not a new bug or feature, it happened with versions prior to 1.13 as well. When I fly and release the up-button, I plunge down some meters, and after that, the height is kept constant. But as soon as I fly horizontally in any direction, I permanently lose height. This makes it very difficult to land precisely on a small object. It feels like sitting in a very bad glider. Is there a bugfix on its way, or is it a glider-simulation-feature? Horst

Horst I think it's deliberate, and I'm sure someone spent a lot of time and effort in making it work that way. I have a modification I did to Cyberflight that attempts to counter this. It's not perfect, but it allows you to fly "flat" at any altitude. It's kind of unpolished, not really ready for production. Do you think there would be interest in that kind of enhancement?
