Hello there!
Up until yesterday afternoon, I was able to successfully run SL with no difficulty whatsoever. I have made no changes in my software or hardware since then, but today the following problems occurred:
1. When logging in the first time, the new TOS message came up. I accepted this, and moved on.
2. The program login proceded to work as normal, until it got to the "Loading Clothing" section. Then the program crashed.
3. The crash logger ran for 20 minutes, but failed to complete. This had to be closed manually.
4. When re-attempting to log in, I would get a message that the region I was logging into was undergoing shutdown and SL would close again.
5. I went to a different computer and was able to successfully log in, so I was able to focus on this single machine.
6. Rebooting failed to correct the problem, so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
7. After downloading the program, SL failed to install, getting an Abort/Retry/Ignore message.
Again, no software or hardware changes took place since yesterday. Any ideas?
