Installed ati radeon 9250 with 128mb graphics acclerator. Went to the site and updated to the newest drivers, catalyst 5.10. Still when i log in it tells me my drivers are outdated i need catalyst 3.8????? That isnt even on the ati site for download anymore???? Still having alot of lag with textures loading and navigating. Does anyone have any info that would be useful to me.
cable connection windows xp 512 ram 2.5ghz intel celeron ati radeon 9250 with the 5.10 catalyst drivers.
thanks in advance. RP

Wait until everyone else stops reporting lag with textures and movement. The current problems seem to be global and the version of your drivers probably makes no difference at this point.

I get great perfromance from a 9600 dual head 256 meg using the omega drivers which are 3rd party drivers designed for tweaking radeon cards. They can be downloaded from http://www.omegadrivers.net/

You have to make sure all the old drivers are removed first, you need to run a free utility to remove all traces of the old drivers then reinstall the new card drivers.

I think there is a driver cleaner available from the ATI website for ATI cards. You can do a google search for a drver cleaner for what needs to be cleaned off.
