"Set Home to Here" bug?

I understand this is a reported bug. If not, someone please bear with me here.

Land cannot be joint owned, I understand that.

Nonetheless, there is one in my SL life I would like to be able to use the "Set Home to Here" function, and it;s not working. Here's the scenario:

1. I make a group.
2. I make the individual a group "Owner" and agree to the inability to reverse that decision.
3. Although "Set Home to Here" is a (listed) group owner right, my friend is unable to do that.

I have not deeded any of my land to the group, and would rather not need to do that, although I did "set" group to land with no result.

Can someone shed some light on this, tell me what I'm doing wrong, suggest a workaround, or verify this is a reported bug?

Update day, i wouldnt hold my breath today, there will be heavy load and aggrivations , bugs, and issues.

Land can be joint owned, if the land is owned by a group. It has to actually be owned by thr group for this... it can't remain owned by you and just set to the group.

Did you deed the land to the group? Just setting the land's group doesn't do this. You have to explicitly deed the land.

When you do, remember to set the option to donate tier withe the land.
