This problem is really pissing ppl off, they need to hire some ppl who know how to fix w.e the problem is and do it right!

Im sorry, i dont mean to be a "B****" or whine.. but this is not the first time this problem is happening and im not the only one who is B****ing about it.. lol

THis Totally sux Donkey ballz! LOL having to wait 10 minutes and then the thing tells me i cant log on!

Please read Announcements for the most recent official Linden news concerning not being able to log in. I feel ya, I'm locked out right now too after I lost a Tigershark to a sim crossing! :|

login frustrations

We are aware of the login delay, you are correct that it is the same issue from last week, and that it gets worse at peak use hours.

There is scheduled maintenance for Thursday: /3/6a/31873/1.html

" We'll be taking the system down on Thursday at 6am Pacific to repair/replace our database equipment. This should reduce or hopefully eliminate login delays. Expect 6 hours of downtime."

I really don't see what the big problem is that everyone is having

I've had nearly 0 wait time to login, I dunno if it's Inventory size, CPU speed, Connection, or what but I was able to login in under a minute...

It's really weird how it affects some and not others

I'm sorry you all that can't login, perhaps some information would help...
Ex. my setup:
CPU: 1.6ghz
Video: ATI Radeon 9000 Mobility
RAM: 1GB
Connection: (Evil grin time) Fiber Optics 10mbps
Inventory size: Umm perhaps lets save this for a rainy day?

If you all start this perhaps we can narrow down why some can login in under a minute and others can't at all

Just trying to help, I know how frustrating this can be, my desktop machine wont login at all, it's the video card, a newer 9600XT, constantly crashes when trying to play SL, and it crashed in under a minute.
