The forums now accept uploads of GIF or JPG for the forum "avatars"... the little graphic image on the left.

You need to make an image that is no more than 50x50 pixels, and less than 20 kB.

To upload... go into [user cp] up near top of the forum page, then edit your profile... down near the bottom of the profile page is a button that says [change avatar]... click on that.. the rest should be straightforward.

Finally! I can use a snapshot from SL for my forum "avatar".
