Any advice for me as i can not log in? it gets to intializing world then stops and i get a message saying 'unable to connect, login packet never recieved by login server?
i never had this problem before, ive tried to contact the support to send a ticket but i carnt get on the support page ? says carnt find page ?
anyone experianceing similar problems?
or any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Sounds like a server issue to me. Usually this resolves itself. Might take a while though.

ah ok thanks for you advice, ill sit it out then. it does log in somtimes but after 3 or 4 seconds it disconects me from sl. thanks again for replying. ..waits....  |

in my case it was sort of an user error, mac at the office got reconnected to a different network during my holiday... and that other network cant connect to SL.

seems I only get the window but it really look like a window

sinds I have window vista it seems I can not log in anymore when I start second life it opens a window that really looks like one just the outside is on screen the normally screen with inlog options is just not there only the background of my pc is there with al the icons from programs but nothing from second life there so is there a solution to make it work again so I just do not only see the frame of the window but also the inside of it so I can log in to I have uninstalled it and installed it already few times but that has not worked stil only the frame of the window

Benny that sounds exactly like a problem i had when i first got vista.... sl is opening on a duel monitor ie: monitor 2 which you don't have so yoy can't se it... go to display properties and disable duel monitors |

wel thanks but must say I got a second monitor and it works good got it on to if I start pc and second life but stil nothing there just the frame of second life on the head screen nothing on the other one except the normal stuff that suppose to be there so if it is what you say then it should be on the second screen then but never seen something there
it is just weird that I got an sort of open window that starts but then nothing it freeze there nothing more just the frame
